Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused primarily on acquiring new clients and expanding market share.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue prospective customers and project opportunities throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, advisors, consultants, project stakeholders, and other referral sources.

  • Develop a strong understanding of prospective clients’ needs, upcoming initiatives, and decision-making processes.

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide accurate activity, revenue, and forecasting reports.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, pricing strategies, and tailored client solutions.

  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales process, from initial introduction and qualification through negotiation and award.

  • Conduct regular prospect outreach, follow-up, and relationship-development activities.

  • Represent the organization at networking events, professional associations, conferences, and other market-facing activities.

  • Track market activity, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunities to support broader growth planning.

  • Support account-development efforts and identify opportunities to expand relationships with newly acquired clients.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of business development, sales, account development, or client-relations experience within a project-based or professional-services environment.

  • Demonstrated success developing new client relationships and converting opportunities into awarded business.

  • Established professional relationships within the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

  • Experience selling complex, consultative, or project-based services.

  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle and maintain a disciplined opportunity pipeline.

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with estimating, operations, project delivery, and executive leadership teams.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable operating independently in a market-facing role.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and pipeline-reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting clients with facilities, capital projects, workplace initiatives, or other business-critical projects.

  • Familiarity with competitive bidding, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
